Applications are submitted exclusively on an online platform (Fenix), and you should consider the following options depending on your situation:
- FA.ULisboa student/alumni candidates who hold an ULisboa account (Fenix access username and password), must access Fenix and through the "candidate" menu start the application process. If you do not remember your access password, you must recover access HERE.
- Candidates external to FA.ULisboa and former FA.ULisboa students who do not hold a campus account must create a user account Fenix HERE.

Following the Regulations for Re-Entry and Change of Institution/Course Pair in Higher Education, the following may apply for a Change of Institution/Course Pair:
- Students who have been enrolled and attended another institution/course pair and have not completed it.
- Students who have been enrolled and attended a foreign higher education institution in a cycle of studies defined as higher by the legislation of the country in question, and have not completed it.
It is not allowed to apply:
- The Change of Pair Institution/Professional Higher Technical Course, or foreign course of the corresponding level, for cycles of studies of degree or integrated cycles of masters studies.
- Change of Institution/Course Pair in the academic year in which the student has been placed in a Higher Education Institution/Course Pair under any access and admission regime, and has enrolled and enrolled.
Students covered by the International Student Statute must apply for a Change of Institution/Course Pair through the Special Access and Admission Contest for International Students.
Students who meet the general access conditions are admitted to the Institution/Course Pair Change Regime, provided they meet one of the following conditions:
- Have taken the national secondary education exams corresponding to the entry tests set for that pair, for that year, within the scope of the General Access Regime, and who have, in these exams, the minimum classification required by the higher education institution.
- For students holding non-Portuguese courses legally equivalent to Portuguese secondary education, the condition set out in paragraph 1 can be met by applying Article 20-A of Decree-Law no. 296-A/98 of September 25 in its current version.
- For students who entered higher education through special access modalities, the condition set out in paragraph 1 can be met under the terms defined in Article 12 of the General Regulations for Re-entry and Change of Institution/Course Pair Regimes in Higher Education.
- The national exams in the previous numbers may have been carried out in any academic year.
Applications are made exclusively online through FenixEdu.
1. The following documents must be submitted:
- Copy of identification document or, alternatively, filling in the personal identification declaration form/Passport/Foreign Identification Document and NIF;
- Curriculum Vitae, dated and signed;
- Certificate of qualifications with a breakdown of the curricular units completed in the higher education course in which the student is/was enrolled (authenticated by the higher education establishment);
- Programs and workloads of completed curricular units (authenticated by the higher education institution of origin);
- Classification sheet for access to higher education (ENES sheet), referring to the year in which you entered higher education;
- For students holding non-Portuguese secondary education courses:
a) Document proving qualification that, in the country where it was obtained, confers the right to apply and enter higher education in that country, with an indication of its final classification and respective classification scale;
b) Entrance exams may be replaced by final exams in subjects from non-Portuguese courses, provided they are national in scope and refer to similar subjects in the entrance exams. - For students who entered Higher Education through special access modalities, the documents provided for in paragraph e) may be replaced by others that prove compliance with the conditions defined in terms of Article 12 of the General Regulation of Re-entry and Re-entry Regimes. Change of Institution/Course Pair in Higher Education;
- Study plan of the study cycle where the approved curricular units were carried out;
- Completion of the form in Excel provided by the system, with the approved curricular units;
- Declaration proving non-prescription at the educational institution of origin, in the academic year for which you are applying (applicable to Portuguese Public Higher Education students);
- For students from the same course (with the same DGES code), with valid enrollment in the academic year immediately preceding the application, a statement indicating the number of consecutive enrollments and the number of credits (ECTS) approved in them;
- The documents provided for in paragraphs c) and f) that are issued by institutions from countries outside the Community must be legalized by a Portuguese consular agent or by the Hague Apostille, and these legalizations are carried out in the country of origin of the documents;
- Whenever they are not issued in Portuguese, English, French or Spanish, the documents must be translated into one of these languages.
2. Accreditation of previous training:
- It is up to the student to request the accreditation of knowledge, by filling in a specific form available in the FenixEdu system, with the description of the curricular units previously approved for which they intend to apply for accreditation.
- The curricular units completed in the form, for which they wish to apply for accreditation, must be accompanied by the respective approval certification documentation, syllabus contents and workloads;
- Only requests for accreditation of knowledge requested by students at the time of application will be considered;
- Placed candidates may exceptionally request accreditation of training obtained after the formalization of the application, between August 7th and 18th, 2023, after which period they will not be able to re-apply any request for accreditation of training carried out previously.
The delivery of documents after the application period or after the period foreseen in paragraph d) above will not be accepted.
- Applications for Change of Institution/Course Pair are subject to an expected fee of:
• 60€ - For students or former students of UTL or ULisboa;
• 140€ - Other students.
- After the posting of the Final Results, the placed candidates who, in their application, presented an application for accreditation of knowledge, will be subject to the payment of the respective fee, provided for in the FA.ULisboa Fees Table.
